Zoo Tycoon 2 is a business simulation video game. The original version was released for the PC by Microsoft Game Studios, but is now available for other platforms including the PDA, Mac OS X, and Windows Mobile. The game is available for PC and is compatible with several operating systems. There are currently no expansion packs for the game. While the original version is a good starting point, expansions are available in the future.
In Zoo Tycoon 2, you start with a blank zoo. You can buy animals, hire employees, add amenities, and manage the animals. Once you've completed your goals, you'll need to care for the visitors and animals. To make your zoo as profitable as possible, you'll have to build the zoo from the ground up. In the freeform mode, you can choose a certain amount of money to start with. You can then build a zoo with the money you've earned. In the challenge mode, you have a limited number of objects and animals to buy. But there are many more that you can choose. In this mode, you must complete various tasks to earn rewards and cash grants. Some of these tasks require the player to please a celebrity guest or photograph animal behavior. You'll also earn in-game awards as you complete these missions, and you'll often unlock themed objects for the freeform mode.
